About me

«Dmitry Kocheshkov- an Israeli architect of Russian origin. I have studied architecture at the College of Technion, Haifa. At present I am working in Varna, Bulgaria. Use of languages: Russian, Hebrew, English.»

Style

«There is no specific style which I work in. Nonetheless, I bring the following principles into being - functionality, organic integration with the environment and aesthetical harmony- following this exact order.»

«… an architect is not supposed to work steadfastly on his or her desk. The construction site, where his concept is being embodied, comes to be the most important part of his or her work. This is why the architect/designer needs to find time and energy for maintaining an adequate presence at the construction site, just like the orchestra conductor cannot remain at home or in his office while the orchestra is playing a symphony under his instructions. Besides, the architect needs to be in constant contact with the engineers, workers, customers, because there is no building process which follows STRICTLY the initial plan- certain corrections always need to be done.»
